“The Choice” I speak to my Christian brothers and sisters. When God made you He gave you a special gift, called a will, for the purpose of making your first choice in your life, to choose good or evil, Him or the devil. When you used your will to choose Jesus, you chose good and rejected evil, this was a physical choice. Life in Him would be full of physical choices in your future. When you chose your wife, did you physically choose good or bad. When you physically choose a leader for your cities police department, did you choose good or evil? When we have a choice given by God to choose a leader for our nation, do we physically choose good or evil? If we don’t exercise our will and choose good, evil remains. Adam chose evil who now rules this world. God gives us in this nation the ability to choose who will lead us. We physically choose and write it on a peace of paper, sign our name on it and that is called a vote. That’s your sworn statement of your choice. Evil is already in office, My statement is to remove it and I chose to remove it. The scripture says “ If the owner of the house knew when the thief was coming, he would not let him break in”.
“A Man Came” “Delusion” I have seen a man coming, his journey has taken a long time. His appearance is one who is wandering, roaming here and there with mental straying, wrong opinion, errors in morals and religion. As I observed him more closely, I noticed a few more characteristics in his wanderings. He resembled a serpent, deceitful, and one who robs, entices and catches by bait. He now sits in a place of great authority over a land called “Blessed”. Just how did the Land get it’s name “Blessed” and who gave it that name and why? Well firstly, blessing is not so much a name but a something, a what it is. It is a something that happened to a land and its people by it’s “Creator”. Blessing means, to speak well of, to be pleased with. And along with that He causes the land and it’s people to prosper and grow abundantly. What were the people like at that time that “Creator” was pleased with? Well, that’s simple and to the point. They loved Him for who He was and what He had done. They appreciated Him and constantly told Him so and sang songs of joy to Him. In return, they felt His pleasure all around them. They knew His living presence. So, because of their actions, He prospered them and their land. Thus, calling it “Blessed”. Long before the wanderer we talked about above came on the scene, his predecessors were at work in our families and school systems. They were quietly teaching our children to rebel against their parents and their “Creator’s” authority. While we comfortably slept through the rebellion in our schools, we also slept through the great rebellion that swept through our entire country as well. Why did we sleep so soundly? We forgot where the blessing came from! We took it for granted, as if we had done it all ourselves. Also we looked at God providing as coincidence rather than divine provision. By miss-judging this, we no longer felt His pleasure and ushered in a great falling away. We voted into office men that did not know God their Creator and had no ability to judge rightly or make just laws. This new breed of leaders are the grown up children from the schools we slept through. They became perverts and now make perverted laws and force our children to comply and arrest parents who oppose it. Well, I had a kidney stone one time, 10 cm if I remember correctly. A 2 or 4 cm hurts but nothing like a 10 cm. I could live with the smaller until I got to the Doctor, but the 10 cm, well, I threw up multiple times it hurt so bad. It’s like this as I see it, there is a great regurgitation going on in our nation and many other nations as well. We are more than a little sick to our stomachs. Can you see it yet? If there is one thing that I have learned in this life it’s, if God’s people who are called by His name will humble themselves and pray and turn from their wicked ways, He will heal and “Bless us and our land again. A friend made this statement once, that a deluded man is one who believes he right when he’s wrong and doubles his effort. Have you heard a man lately speak about his religion in one sentence and promote perversion in the next? So to sum up this thing, God knows that when our nation and our world gets so perverted and thinks that perverting God’s design is OK when it’s not, pain and regurgitation is on the way. He dosen’t have to correct us, but His designed nature will. Can you see it yet? A great separation is happening right now and if you are smelling the regurgitation, then you are the ones He is calling to come back. He is forgiving and inviting you back to the “blessing”. We all have a free will. We have a choice to place into office the “Deluded” men again or men of Godly integrity. A man has come, Donald Trump, and is not deluded, to fix what the “Deluded” men have done. He is God’s man to fix it, who is sent to pick up the broken pieces and put them back together again. PS: I have heard this statement sorrowfully from many people, “There are two things I don’t talk about, Politics and Religion”. My response to them is, that’s “Delusion”, God owns both and adjusts as He see’s fit, hopefully without pain, if not, so be it. There is a great separating happening in our nation and other nations as well. People are voting their convictions in God with their hands making their statement, but much more than a statement, a change of the guard. We stop this thing, by our works prompted by our faith. One without the other has brought this “delusion” upon us.
My wife and I live in the Smokey Mountains in East Tennessee. There is a swift running creek right next to our house. Now, many years ago the people of this community built a bridge made of locust wood across the creek. The bridge had an opening of about 12 feet across. When the heavy rains came, the excess water had plenty of room to go under the bridge. My neighbor told me that the only time the water went around the bridge was when a tree fell across the creek near it. Many years later unexpected change was coming. Now unintended change and intended change have the same results. The county road folks came out, took out the wooden bridge and replaced it with a 5 foot diameter metal culvert. Well, every time we get a heavy rain, tree limbs come down the creek, stop up the culvert, divert the water around it, and down the road, cutting it down two feet deep or more, the whole width of the road. All the while trying to find a way back to the creek and to its finale destination, the Pigeon River a mile away. I wouldn’t want to guess what it cost to fix that. One year it flooded 5 times. Now, some things need to be diverted and some don’t. Designed final destinations don’t. Seeing the final destination is vital in fighting unwanted divergence. Let’s look at some final destinations so we can get a picture of what we’re talking about. There are short term destinations and there are long term ones. A short term destination might be building a set of steps on my front porch. Well I cut the steps and then the stringers and I realize that I don’t have the nails I need to put them together and have to drive 19 miles to town to get them. Having to stop and drive 19 miles which takes 30 minutes each way is the divergence. I can’t finish the steps, which is my final destination, until I do. A semi long term destination might be to graduate high school, go on to college and graduate also. One day we meet someone that we can’t live without that dosen’t have the vision of my destination. I have just married my diversion. Now lets talk about a lone term destination that my designer God set for me. When I was very young, I had a strong desire to become a preacher when I grew up. I don’t know why because I didn’t even know what one was yet. Well, as I grew up, Mother would take us to church and daddy would go fishing. She would tell us children who we could play with and who we shouldn’t. Well, one day I met my diverters, yep they were the ones mama told us not to play with. I began to sneak around and do what they did. Soon I forgot about the thing God put in my heart about becoming a preacher. I quit school in the 11th grade, went into the Army, began to drink beer, married the wrong girl, divorced, ran the bars for many years. I had met many diverters, one for each bad decision I made. My final destination of being a preacher was diverted for many years. But like the creek, I finely got back to my Pigeon River destination, by the hardest. Now, all final destinations that God ordains are important. One of these pertains to Israel, their home land and their return to it. In our lives God said there would be troubles but woe to the one that brings it. Israel suffers many diverters that try to divert them from that purpose. There are many who would and are trying to change Israel’s long finale destination. Many have tried and many have failed. We must see Israel and ourselves from God, our Creators’ view, or we can become our own, as well as Israels’ diverter. The truth about someones’ finale destination preserves us from becoming their diverter. In our society today we see many who have been diverted from their purpose and ignorantly divert others. To interfere with the future plans of a single person is bad enough, but for a nation, it is dangerous before God. He has in the past and will in the future, correct anyone who curses Israel and their destination. The foundational people of America do not curse Israel, only some of those diverters we have voted into office do. Great and mighty God of heaven and earth forgive us in our deception of voting into office godless diverters of your people. We stand with You and Your people Israel, in the name of Jesus your Son and the sure, soon return of Israel’s Messiah. Come Lord Jesus.
There is a belief system in the earth that we live in that is separated from reality. So if our belief system is separated, what is it separated from? And, what is the other system? This system we live in can be seen, such as, I know that I can see, feel touch and so on. I believe this is all here and I believe that it is real. Now the way we relate with other humans and governments all over the earth are a part also of what we believe. What we believe is what we teach, how we govern and what we say to others. And, just a few examples of the basic things we believe are, I know the earth is here because I’m standing on it and I have been told that we were created by by nothing that exploded and the something, the earth and all that’s in it came out of that. In believing this way other beliefs grew out of that, such as there are no absolutes and we can believe anything we want, because there is no right way or wrong ways, we just live in the now. Evolution can be added to this list also. Well we could go on and on with this but, I believe you know what we are talking about, as we all live in it, this belief system that is. Now, to the other belief system we said we were separated from and the other reality. In this belief system, there are absolutes, there are right ways and wrong ways, good and bad. In this system we don’t just believe in it, we know it. In the beginning of this reality was God our Creator and He designed all that we see, touch, feel, walk on and such. When God created the first humans Adam and Eve they were deceived by that other reality’s teacher satan, that they could be smarter than God their Creator so, God put them out of the perfect garden and His belief system into the belief system that we all live today. Now God’s system has structure and planed design, like building a house. With the proper planing and design or blueprints the house will be strong and beautiful. With hap-ha-sered and what seems right the house can fall in on our heads when the wind blows. Guessing at life is not a good plan, it will fall on our heads also. Have we seen any divorce and children hurt lately, working a job we hate, government dictatorships, wars, terrorist attacks and on and on. Satan’s whole plan from the garden until now and the future is to keep us guessing and remember guessing is not a plan. Guessing and listening to guessing is not a part of God’s belief system. Now we will just cut to the chafe if you will, or get to the point. God is more than aware of your belief system that brought nothing but confusion, despair, sickness, disease and premature death, drug addiction among just a few. 2024 years ago God sent Jesus who had carried out his instruction to create our world and all thats in it to make a way for us to return to his garden. He died in our place, He took all our sin, despair in abilities and failures on Himself. We are the ones that deserved death not him. So this is the way it is. He died in our place, when we believe and follow Him, all of the sin of separation and what comes with it are forgiven and He remembers them no more. When this happens He says we die and are buried with him and are raised to new life in Him forever. At this point we no longer live in this worlds belief system but His, we see the creation from His system view. We will begin to see the conflicts between His belief system and this worlds belief system clearly. We will no longer be led by what we no longer believe. We surly have to be baptized into His death and resurrection, to be able to see His reality.
In the Garden of Eden man walked with God. God is Spirit and man was flesh and Spirit also. When satan convinced man that he could be as wise as God, a big problem arose. Man was only intended to know the good and not the evil too. His actions in this separated him from God. Since God is Spirit, the Spirit left also. Man has been searching for that Spirit ever since.
When man is born, he immediately begins searching for that Spirit. The first thing he does is cry. His seed was formed in heaven with that Spirit of God. When he is birthed into this world, he cries, “Father” and cries out all his life for him and that perfect relationship until he finds it. The problem is, he doesn’t know what he’s looking for or where to find it.
Man is made up of three parts, spirit, soul and body. The spirit which is the conscience or consciousness of God. The soul, which is the mind, will and emotions. The body, which is the flesh.
The word Pharmacy is interpreted, “sorcery”. So what does sorcery have to do with this?
I grew up with two sisters and two brothers. My father was gone most of that time. He had a bad alcohol drinking problem. Mother took us to church every week while our father was out searching, crying, “Father”, caught in an nonspiritual fog looking for the Spiritual. My mother was English and my father was Irish. Well the Irish have a history of drinking a lot and it seems to run in the genes, because it ran through the male side of our family. Daddy went to a christain tent meeting, I don’t know where, but he met the Spirit he had always searched for and the alcohol spirit among other things left him. My mother and dad got back together and lived happily ever after.
I grew up as a fairly happy kid, but I could feel there was something lacking and didn’t know what it was. The older I got, the something lacking got worse. In that searching for something more, alcohol just happened to show up. When I drank the searching and crying seemed to quieten down some. The yearning would really get bad when I had a hangover and couldn’t drink. I tried to cover it with new cars, new toys, new wife, from one thing to the next. Nothing helped. All these things were meant to cover the searching and crying. I even tried drugs. I saw with my own eyes, a Budweiser beer can grow 20 inches tall after taking two tabs of acid. I smoked pot, hash and some other things. I didn’t like those because I felt guilt too strongly afterwards. After all I was Irish and in my eyes drinking alcohol was ok. By the way, the conscience we were talking about earlier is that place where, when we do something against God’s way we feel guilty.
What ever would alter my mind and cover up the searching and crying and yearning for something I didn’t know, was what I did. In my hippie years, we would sit around the campfire, talk and wonder about the world and God and who He was, if He was real. If we could get high enough, we would know and understand all those deep things. We would even invent terms to explain what we knew. All I really learned was how to spell “wow” backwards. Well the the searching, yearning and crying only got worse. A lot of the people I knew went deeper into in their journey trying to find spiritual truth in drugs and alcohol.
A pharmacist is one who mixes drugs together to fix a problem, that in itself is not bad, if to fix a problem in the flesh. To take drugs to fix a spiritual problem is. It’s called “sorcery”. In many cases a mental problem comes out of a Spiritual problem. Thus, the term “mind altering drug”.
So, taking drugs and alcohol to find the spiritual is “sorcery”. The devil tries to counterfeit the word with light sticks, man floating in the air and such, in the movies. We can never find God’s Spiritual truth in “sorcery”. We didn’t know that in our searching, we were not looking in the place where God said look. He simply said, look around at what I have made. In our minds, it’s got to be more difficult than that, isn’t it?
I heard that about 80% of all Americans takes some kind of drug that alters the mind. Drugs to calm us down, drugs to lift us up and such. In the hippie world we called them uppers and downers. Uppers to help us search and downers to help us cover the searching and crying. All alter the mind. I heard a minister say once that depression is, “suppressing the Holy Spirit”, I agree.
Mans spirit organ is designed to house God’s Spirit also. When His Spirit is not there we search and cry “Father”.
To stop the yearning, searching and crying is a big business in our world today, money wise. It is very important to the devil, who hates you and God that you all stay in the searching and crying mode forever. He loves it when you find him in the drugs, as long as you don’t find God. Don’t worry, God won’t allow us to find Him there.
In the scriptures God said there are world leaders that have governed nations with “sorcery”. How is that? Do you remember the hippies? The ones that never found the Spirit, and are ruling today with the wisdom they found around the campfire getting high. The spirit they found was not God’s.
The utopia teaching we hear today from our government officials, such as, abort your children before they are born for your own peace of mind. Take money from one and give it to another. We can just talk to our enemies and not fight, Give drugs to the addicted to ease their misery and on and on.
The Spirit that we searched and cried for is good and kind and wars with His sworn enemy. We knew Him as a seed and will recognize Him when we come near Him. Don’t accept a counterfeit through drugs and alcohol. By the way why is alcohol called, “spirits”?
PS: When I came near to some people that really knew Him, I knew that what I had been searching for was near. I cried out to Him and He answered. I found what I had been searching for all those years. He fixed all those things I damaged while searching and crying.
What is time ? It is a certain period that either has not come yet or has already past. At that time many things happened instantaneously. Of course we don’t see or experience them all, but we do those in our own realm. Times are many periods throughout our lifespan. I think back over the years of periods that accumulated into times, everyone of them happened precisely on the time period that it was supposed to, except those that were foolishly changed. There are many who never consider how important the time periods are. The scriptures says, “My times are in your hands”. Meaning that those who love the Lord, He changes the periods of change in our lives. He changes our time into His time. We have an organ called the soul which is our mind, will and emotions. The will has the option to choose what we want and decide. The scripture also says, “ Our ways are not His ways and His ways are not our ways.
I have been a very impatient person and still wrestle with it. God gave me a wonderfully patience wife. Well, you know, God said, we became one flesh. So, that means I acquired some more patience. Oh, over a period of time some of hers rubbed off on me. I sometime see something and want to buy it right then, the other side of me, which is my patient wife will say, let’s search out this thing and see if this is a good deal or not. What ? This is a cheap one time deal, we need to get it now, or it might be gone while we’re gone a searching !. Well over the years of times I’ve learned to be a little more patient, from my patient other half. When God sent my wife at that certain time, He knew that there would be many time periods of change coming my way.
Down through the ages there were things said by the prophets that would happen at a certain period of time and they happened exactly at that time. If God can say those things and they happen that way so many years apart, He must have planned the whole shebang. Wouldn’t it be smart to walk through life in His way and not ours. I don’t know about you but I’ve made a lot of mistakes not doing something or doing something or doing something too soon or too late.
The divorce rate is 50% in America today, so that adds up to half of America changing time in my way of thinking. It not only changes our time, but our children’s future times also. Just one example: Our children were supposed to love us always. How did that work out after the divorce?
As I look out of our window at all the trees on the Mountain side, they all germinated at different time periods and became times. In our government there have been certain periods when certain people were elected to hold office. Some had more or lesser power to make changes. They happened at a certain period of time that changed time periods for the worse. It seems that good changes are a rarity now days. When we were born, God gave us all certain rights at that period of time. When some of those people were elected to office, they either knowingly or unknowingly began to nullify those rights. What? God said , “your ways are not my ways”. Do you think it would have been better to patiently search out the person’s ways before electing him to office? Do we want our times to be in his hands or Gods? We have a nation full of officials that are changing our times. The blood of the unborn cry out, their future times were cut off for convenience of time.
Time, to some of us is our worst enemy. There is not enough time in the day. I don’t have enough time to do this or do that. There’s not enough daylight left. I can’t help you today I have to do something else. Time, no time, sounds like a lot of time planning by me and not God. You know, we worry so much about time. We say things like, life’s just too short. We hear things like, my time is running out. We have lived so long on God’s green earth that we live with an underlying fear of dying and never seeing it again. I believe at one time God said, we will never die, we only shed this old body, We live forever. So stop worrying, forever is a long time.
In an earlier Post, I mentioned back in 1968 I was trying to live the carefree hippie life. I had one time only tried the hallucinogenic drug called acid. I had a vivid vision of a clock like image with a time line, when the hour hand reached straight up the age said death, 69. I worried about this for years, just knowing that I would die at 69 years. I was born again in 1979 and those fears left. I am now 74 years old and you can guess I didn’t die. The devil tried to convince me that my times were in his hands. The world is full of people who live in fear of that kind of devilish nonsense. Time has never been in his hands and never will be. God holds the keys to the time of our departure, our times are in His hands.
Well, it’s time for me to stop writing and go out, start up the saw mill, cut the lumber to build a new chicken pen. The baby chicks were born a week ago and at a certain time period they will outgrow the small pen they are in. I would like to sit here longer but as the old saying goes “ times a wasting” , those chicks are a growing and the pen had better be ready.
Your future times will be in God’s hands if we let Him. I see so many weary people who have ruined their future, wonderful time periods by making bad choices. God’s time choices are perfect. He plans our times and periods much better than we can. His scripture says, “commit your ways to him and He will guide your paths”.

You know there have been many stories of ghost sightings. Everyone seems to know one. When we boys were teenagers, there was a place in north Mobile County known as Kalioka. That was one of the places people went to park and smooch. Some would see a light coming down through the woods towards them, excuse me, but it would scare the hell out of them. They would tear down trees and bushes, excuse me, getting the hell out of there. Some of us decided that we would go up there in the dark woods and see what was going on. Darn near wet my pants when I saw that light coming, a tree fell across the road, we tore down more bushes and trees leaving. We decided to go back up there in the day time and so to say, shed some light on the situation. We got there and started looking around, cautiously, if you know what I mean. You might know, we found a white sheet, cables, pulleys and spent camera flash bulbs. Yep, it was a hoax, meant to keep people off private property.
It seems like every old house has its’ Ghost story. It’s like we all want to believe in ghosts and see one. We want to see them do something, something to believe they are real. I guess the ghost hunters will keep on looking and making money on TV. shows that leave you hanging on until the next episode. The movie “Ghost-busters” is what some believe they are like. Really? Then there are the good ghosts. That is the counterfeit. The devil always wants us to believe that something is different than what it really is.
There are made up ghosts and there are the real ones. The real one’s are called demon spirits. They act completely different than “Ghost-busters”. It seems that when man makes up something in his own mind, that he thinks is, is usually not. It doesn’t look or act the way he thinks it should. That is a perfect example of the devil’s deception. Hide the real, so he won’t be recognized when he comes. I call this, distorting the image, or repainting the picture.
The earth is full of demon spirits that manipulate the mind of man. It won’t hurt you, if you do this. It’s not bad if you do that. It’s ok to hate this and love that. It’s OK, it’s OK. What we think in our minds can turn out to be our worst enemy. It can leave us sick, afflicted and crippled.
When I returned to Alabama a few years after being born again in east Virginia, I met some folks, some were sick and some had family members that were also. Some practiced witchcraft out of ignorance, just not knowing, but still, listening to those instructions we just talked about above. Take a lock of hair and nail it to a tree to heal a cut. Take a sick child to a woman known to heal by blowing into the child’s mouth. There were many more such things. I was told that if it worked, it had to be from God. When I saw these practices and the results of them, I knew that I had to deal with them. I was told by a woman that her baby was sick, and was getting worse and would I pray for it. When I saw the child it was screaming. I asked what had she done to help. I will tell this story in a allegory, but the facts are true .
The child was taken to a woman, we’ll call her name “witch”, by a woman named “ignorant” The child was getting weaker and close to death. My pastor and I laid our hands on the child we will call “Fortunate To Have Us”, and by the authority of the one we will call “The Ghost Of Alabama”, better known as “The Holy Ghost Of God”, we commanded the demon to come out of “Fortunate To Have Us, and she lived. Jesus came to undo the damage the devil has done to His people.
The Holy Ghost and I together, came to Alabama to undo the damage the dark lying spirits had done to His people. I heard a statement made by a minister many years ago. He used this term to the devil, “Step Aside”.
I went to visit a man in Bon Secour, Alabama once. He seemed to say all the right religious words, but was shallow in his way. While sitting at his picnic table in his front yard, I noticed his dog laying in the grass. He was not moving. I asked about the dog and he said he’s been laying there for three days. I asked him if he had prayed for him. He looked at me kind of funny and said no. Well, I said , do you mind if I do. He said he didn’t. I laid my hands on him and commanded the sickness to leave. To the owner’s surprise the dog jumped up and started running around the yard. The “Ghost of Alabama” was not surprised at all. I looked down at the grass where the dog had been lying and there was the perfect outline of the dog. All the grass was dead. The dog lived, the man was surprised, the Holy Ghost of Alabama was not.
We went a lot of places in Alabama, the Holy Ghost and me. There are many examples like these. A church body was built, the people got well, I was surprised, The “Holy Ghost of Alabama” was not.
PS: The Ghost of Alabama is the same, in Georgia, Mississippi, Tennessee and in every State in America and the world. He is The “Great Holy Ghost Of God”.
Amp: 1 John 3:8 says. “The reason the Son of Man was made manifest (visible) was to undo (destroy, loosen, and dissolve) the works the devil has done”.
There are many things to see in our life on this earth and many reasons we don’t see them and there are consequences with both. There are bridges and there are pitfalls. One benefits us and one delays our arrival or we don’t get there at all. Some make life easier and some make it harder. Why do some people see them and some don’t? Well, when I was young there were was a phrase used at every railroad crossing that read, “Stop, Look And Listen. Now this sign, if read, just might save our life, or take it. My wonderful wife doesn’t miss much in in life because she is very observant and stops, looks and listens. Now this can be a benefit to me also, only, she knows a thing and I just know of it. She is wise in it and I just know of it. She knows how to do it and I have to ask her. Promptings are designed to cause us to “Stop, Look and Listen” so we personally know a thing.
“Happen, Delayed or Never”
We have a new Great Pyrenees puppy that’s 7 weeks old. I was watching as she went off the porch, up the hill to a fenced pen that connects to our fenced in house. She did her business and came back to the house. She had watched as I took her up there three times. She watched and did what I had shown her and has been doing it ever since. Now, we have another dog as well. She sat and watched, didn’t respond, and I have to open the gate and take her out at the most inopportune times. The 7 week old puppy can do something the 12 year, old dog can’t. There are many, many wonderful things that benefit us in life. I have a wonderful neighbor that had an out house and no indoor plumbing, except spring water running, in the kitchen sink. I used to tell him all the time that the toilet was one of the greatest inventions ever made. He had to walk fifty yards when the urge hit him, hot weather, cold weather, snow, rain or flood and his wife had to do that too. Now, the day came that she broke her hip, and asked me if I would put a toilet in her house, because she couldn’t walk up there any more. They looked, listened, but delayed, and it could have been never. Delayed is better than never. Wonderful ideas are given to us if we what? Stop, Look and Listen. I’m more than glad that the man that invented the toilet Stopped, Looked, Listened and acted on his prompting, aren’t you? There are many wonderful ideas and inspirations that God gives to men to help make life in a fallen world easier and better for us. There are many things right before our eyes and we fail to see them. Many inspirations are only given to one person in all the earth. If this person won’t stop long enough to look and listen to what is coming, God may continue to prompt him for a little while longer, or give it to someone else. He wouldn’t have prompted this one person if it were not important that His creation have it to use.
I played the banjo almost fifty-five years and was out of tune every time I put a capo on. At seventy six years old, God starting prompting me to fix this problem. Now no one on this earth has ever fixed this problem. At least I have never seen one or one has ever been patented. Well, one day, while sitting in my living room, I stopped what I was doing, looked, and listened, then asked God if this issue could be fixed. Would you show me if it can? Then I looked down the neck of my instrument and I saw it, the thing that was producing the problem. I was able to design a capo that fixed the problem and get it patented. A one of a kind prompt. I build capos for guitar and banjo till this very day.
There are many promptings that are much bigger and more important than mine and are right before our eyes. For instance, when Jesus, the very Son of God, our designer and creator, came to the earth, was killed, by the very people God had prompted for many years, by the scriptures and the prophets, that He was coming. They were so caught in their own traditions and ideas that they would not Stop, Look and Listen. There are many promptings today in the old Testament and the New, that He is coming back soon. We must Stop, Look and Listen to the promptings today in the little ones and the big ones.
God also prompts certain men to go before and prepare things, such as John the Baptist before Jesus. In our day today, He also prompts men to go before and do a very important task. In my latter years, I may not hear the smallest bird whistle, but it is not dependent on my ears to hear my Creator and Father sending promptings to me. In my living room one morning in the year 2016, while watching the national news, Donald Trump was being interviewed. I asked God, “who is this man” and this is His very words, “He Is My Man”. That prompt told me all I needed to know about Donald Trump. God never chooses someone to do something on the spur of the moment. He trains them from birth. Those of us who were chosen and trained heard a prompting later in life and responded. When prompted we stopped in our tracks, looked and listened and responded and that’s how we know. His promptings are not dependent on our ears. They are bigger than life. It goes through us like sonar in a submarine. You can’t tell where it came from, or where it’s going, but you certainly heard it, not in the ear but in your Knowing.(Spirit)
To sum it up, Promptings cause us to do great things, when acted on. So when a prompting deep inside us just won’t subside, Stop. Take a look at it and Listen, than act on it. It may not seem important or great to you but it is to God. They all are.
PS: Donald Trump has already done great things In America and the world and will do even greater things, because God has Prompted Him and is with him. You also will do great things when prompted.
We are all born in a place we are called to leave, to leave and never look back. Somewhere in our mind is the memory of when we were in our mother’s womb, but God in his sovereignty won’t let us remember it. When we breathe our first breath of air we start remembering things behind us. There are some things that are good and some things not so good. We have to physically be in a place to have a remembrance of it. In this world there are many things to experience and explore, some good and some bad. Some worth touching and some not. Some bring great reward and some that tear down.
My wife and I went to a funeral last night. The girl that died was 29 years old. She was born into a family with addictive parents, she became addicted also. At first the drugs were fun but soon became damaging to her heart, physically. The God of heaven, our creator always gives us a chance to leave. Jesus came, walked this ground and calls, follow me. The following Him part is what gets us out.
When Moses and all Israel left Egypt, it was because God called and said, leave. They left and Moses made this statement “If I had looked back I would have had cause to return”. He never looked back, some did and died before they saw the promised Life.(Land).
We are born in a corrupt and fallen world. It takes effort to come out of some places and things. Jesus led Moses out and will lead all of us out also. There is great promise in your future.
I look around and see so many young people in rags staring at a $600.00 dollar cell phone, caught in a world of ignorance and will never be successful at work, play or life unless they come out. Some don’t even know that they’re caught. There are plenty of voices out there saying, stay where you are I’ll take care of you.
In the natural world, education and good work ethics cause us to come out to a cleaner better life. In the supernatural world, seeking and doing the plans of God causes us to be successful in every phase of life. A man could even be dirt poor and still be happy in God’s plan. Poverty is simply a state of mind.
There are whole races of people who need, as us southerners would say, Exer – Dust or shake the dust off your feet and light a shuck out of there. There are leaders, self proclaimed ministers, that demand that the government feed and clothe their entire communities. That is called an Egypt mentality. Egypt was a horrible place and what they are suggesting is also. Slavery is what Egypt gave and that’s what paying for everyone’s needs gets you. Moses said “let my people go”, not keep them enslaved. Godless ministers say, demand what you want. Demanding to be given everything, gets you slavery. Who you owe to, is who owns you. Godly men say leave and follow Jesus out. He will reward you in school, work and every aspect of life. . The Egypt life is hard forced labor with little pay, always hoping for something else and never getting it. Trapped in emptiness and loneliness. Knowing that something is dominating and holding you down, with no hope in the future. The scripture says, “ “Hope deferred makes the heart sick”. A sick heart leads to drugs, alcohol, murder, abnormal sex and a party spirit with false fun. It wears you out and leaves you broken. Joy and success is not in Egypt.
Those who love God and live in Godly families have already come out. But most people were not raised in that setting and have to break out, leave and never look back. It’s kind of scary, this breaking out. It’s just that this breaking out is not pleasant, but afterwards it’s wonderful. Sort of like a bad tooth, it hurts and the thought of someone twisting it out is tough, but after it’s gone it’s great.
The use of the word slavery is somewhat perverted. It should be ownership. Pharaoh owned Israel, in his own eyes, he was never going to let them leave. God had to force Pharaoh to let them go. God is still forceful for those who want to leave ownership, whether it is government handouts, food, drugs, alcohol, abusive family, laziness or ignorance. Say this, I will not live in Egypt all my life! God has made a nest for you, but you have to get up, tell Him so and follow Him out. It’s sort of like night time, when the sun comes up it’s all bright and new and holds your future hopes and dreams.
Moses and Israel’s new life, free from slavery was in Canaan, not Egypt. In order to find it they had to leave. For all those in emptiness and sorrow, you have to leave the state of mind you are in and than leave to find your promised new life.
There is a song we sing, it says “God will make a way when there seems to be no way”. If you are breathing, this promise is for you. There is another old song that says. “I don’t care where you’ve been sleeping I don’t care who’s made your bed I already gave my life to set you free”. What you’ve done and what you are doing is your slavery, the master that owns you. Israel was doing the same things when God said leave. He fixes and forgives all of that when we stand up and start leaving. What is out in front is your future home , life, wife, husband, children, job that you love, happiness and safety and no Pharaoh, no slavery, no addictions.
I can’t begin to tell you all the names of the people I know that have left, including myself and found that promised life.
When I was young boy, in our back yard there was a blue martin house. We loved to watch them sail around catching bugs. They were at perfect peace doing exactly as God designed them. Now their catching thousands of mosquitoes a day meant that that we could play outside peacefully and have fun. Everything was great until the cow birds, as we called them, discovered the martin house. They are actually starlings. Well they are of a strange breed, they rob the martin eggs, move in and lay their own. The martins try to fight the cow birds as more and more of them come. Soon the beautiful blue martins leave and you guested it, the mosquitoes return. Our back yard was no longer a fun, peaceful place to play. We knew the cow bird as a nest robber. Well, Jesus, had a lot to say about peace and its’ condition. John. 14:27 says, “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. I was once reminded of something very important that is good to remember. In the American language and others as well, we might use a phrase to describe a red cherry as “red cherry”, with the adjective “red” first and the noun “cherry” second, but in Hebrew it would be called a “cherry red”. The noun being first and the adjective second. What the object is, comes first and its’ description is second. Let’s see if we can relate to something that I had begun to do. I had started to look at people’s actions first rather than what they are. God said that man was created in his own image, and that being a noun. Mans’ actions then being an adjective. God looks at His created person as perfect first, him being a noun, He looks at the learning, imperfect person, secondly as the adjective, his condition second. Sometimes we can see a persons’ adjective, all his faults, and overlook his noun. Every person is first Gods’ created noun, and secondly his adjective condition. We are saved from our adjective condition to realize our noun, who we are. The more I looked at peoples’ condition, the more critical I would get. The scripture says correctly, “The anger of man does not work the salvation of God”. I, in a way, had become like the cow bird to those I loved and was trying to help. I was unknowingly robbing God’s noun of his peace. God chooses the adjective, just as he is and makes him to realize his noun.
