“The Leaves Are Falling”

“The leaves are falling”
“Change Is Coming”

My little office is upstairs and right before my face is a 4 foot by 4 foot window. There are big rock outcroppings with a lot of trees; Pine, popular, maple and oak. Some have been there for a long time and some are new, all at different ages and size. They are constantly growing and changing, but they all have one thing in common. They are still trees and rocks, exactly as God made them to be. Well, there is another thing they have in common, they don’t have a will. Animals don’t have one either, only man.

In the beginning when God created all of what I am looking at, it was to remain the same. Man was to name all of this and tend it. In the garden that God had made for man, why it wouldn’t even need rain, only dew. Getting back to the thing we mentioned before about man having a will. God gave man a will so he would have a choice to willingly love Him and what He had created for man, or not . Of course, man chose not to and garden life changed drastically.

Sitting here watching the summer season begin to change to fall and watching the leaves that God made start dropping off the trees and fill the air, a phrase came to me. “The Leaves Are Falling, Change is Coming”. The coolness in the air meant winter was coming, but more than winter.

As with trees, when all their leaves fall off, we can see further into the woods. The same can be said of a nation as well. When the love and gratitude for God falls a way, we can see into the future life clearer. Love grows colder as the man gets barer. As a wolf in the woods, when the trees are bare it makes stalking his prey easier. We find ourselves naked and ashamed in a wilderness full of wolves.

The scripture says, in the last days wolves will come in sheeps’ clothing to deceive us. Just what does that mean? It means we won’t know the difference between a Christian and a non Christian. A man who believes that God created us and a man who doesn’t. Well, God will give us what we ask for, and has. “Change is coming”.

The change that is coming is a direct result of our action of putting our trust in the wolf rather than the sheep. We have elected wolves to govern the sheep, if you will. The people we have willingly, by our own volition, voted into office have turned their hatred toward us and call us home grown terrorists and the enemy of democracy.

Where I grew up, we have hurricanes. When the community starts hating each other and stops speaking to each other, guess what brings us back together again? You guessed it. Our governors and leaders have invited people who hate us into our country. Well, there is not a hurricane big enough to correct America, so what can we expect to happen? I wrote a post back in 2015, “A Storm Comes From The North East, Hunker Down And Pray”. Its’ winds began as a whisper and now are beginning to roar. The hatred for God’s people is increasing. It started in Washington D.C. first and the invitation to those in the far east who hate us has been sent as well.

Regret can turn into gratitude if we are willing, but it depends on our will. If we as a people will humble ourselves and pray, God will heal us first and then our land (nation). We have never before seen blackness of hate and heart as Israel is experiencing now and it will get viler until God destroys it. It is here in America now and will get worse. God will destroy it if we “Hunker Down And Pray”.

PS: A man in Israel made this statement, “Before October 7/2023 we were a people divided by ideology and divisions. We are now one people, Israel.

“The Highway”

“The unchangeable”

Our creator says, “I change not”. You know, through my life I have noticed things that change and there are things that do not. Things that change can be easy or hard, but they both lead to something that never changes, as in a destination, we start on a trip to a certain spot or place. In the Tennessee mountains where we live, a G.P.S. can lead you in a circle, right where we started from. They are great for city navigation but, not in the country or rather the (Wilderness). This can make getting to the place we set out for difficult.

God says, “I know the plans I have for you”

When we get born again, we think we have arrived at our destination. We begin to use our own new rebuilt G.P.S. as a guide to navigate the wilderness and the circling begins. Some times we reach the simpler destinations, but the more difficult ones we just circle around in confusion. Being born again is very very important, but is just the beginning. God has many destinations (Plans) for us to reach. All are good, but all are not easy. I can have a G.P.S. that will point to the lookout house on top of a Mt. Cammerer behind my home, but the elevation is 5,300 ft. The trip is going to be difficult. God’s plans for us are written in stone and are unchangeable. All our destinations reached in life are good, just wait until you get there.

God says, “I can not lie”

There are plans and designs that He built into life when He created the Heavens and the Earth that can not be changed. They are unchangeable. Gravity is unchangeable and man cannot duplicate it. The destinations in our lives are unchangeable even though we try. It’s not wrong to try, but we can’t get there from here. Every destination we reach in Gods plan is good and we become wiser in life and God.

God says “I never slumber or sleep”

For me personally, life on this earth has been a long time. Some of my destinations have taken a long, long time. Learning a new new character lesson, getting free from a long time habit, an ugly sin etc. God’s plan is to develop a new reborn way of life in us. This plan has many destinations and final conclusions that build Godly character in us. These destinations are written in stone and are unchangeable. He is always walking in us and helping us to reach these very important completions.

God says, “I have spoken”

When God speaks, it is final, there is no other way. He has reasons behind His statements, some we can see and understand and some we can not. Faith is trusting Him in His decisions. There are external destinations apart from our own. Some would be world structure and order. He says, “I raise up Kings and pull them down”. He said, “In the last days, I will bring my people Israel back to their homeland”. We have in our own lives, seen God do what He said thousands of years ago. This was one of Gods planned destinations for Israel. He also said that “I am coming back for my church without spot or blemish”. This means both the individual and the corporate.

God said, “I will surely come”

From the time of the rebellion in the Garden of Eden, God has been planning destinations for us all, for the great one when He returns. Jesus said, “I come in the cloud and every eye will see me, even those who pierced me”. Everyone who has been perfected by His preplanned Destinations will know Him and shout for joy. Our Father and teacher has come. Then we will see Him face to face.

PS: When we start our first destination God see us as already perfect. We just have to walk them out for us to know it.
